Buntfleck is a small but fine design label from Weimar.
My name is Kathrin and I live with my two children, my husband and our little dog in this beautiful city where art, literature and music play a central role.
My passion
My passion for drawing began in early childhood and continued through my architecture studies in Weimar. When I became a mother for the first time in 2011, my passion shifted more and more toward illustration and graphic design. After my parental leave with my second child, I took the plunge and founded my own label, Buntfleck, in 2016.
Since then, I have been creating childlike, playful illustrations that are lovingly printed on a variety of media and have already adorned many a child's room.
At Buntfleck
There are literally "colorful spots" to be discovered in many products.
The playful designs are intended to make children's eyes light up and make their world a little happier, especially during the stressful school day.
Buntfleck should be a place full of joie de vivre and warmth.

All products are created and your order is packaged with lots of love.
Ceramics
has been a new and exciting branch of Buntfleck since 2024. Lovingly handcrafted, unique pieces will be created. Stay patient and feel free to stop by again.
My work
have also been seen in various contexts and as commissioned drawings for clients such as DEPOT, Victorinox, UNICEF, EMF Verlag or Jaja Verlag in Berlin.
